About shower enclosures

Specification
All hinges are fixed within the door height and are self centring from approximately 25° The hinges are manufactured from selected brass billet which is drop forged, polished and plated. The hinge pins and clamping screws are machined from stainless steel and the gaskets are water impenetrable. The wall mounted hinges are supplied with stainless steel screws and wall plugs.

Notes: All hinges and clamps require the glass to be notched or drilled prior to toughening. Glass preparation can be downloaded from our website. www.hardwareforglass.co.uk

Frameless shower enclosures are not 100% watertight as there are gaps between the door and the panels, both under the door and through the hinges.

Water may pass through these gaps some of which can be closed using these seals. Frameless screens are designed for use in 'wet' environments (i.e. tiled floors etc) where an escape of water is acceptable.
