Our glass hardware has been designed for use with 10 or 12mm toughened glass using patch fittings, rails or a combination of both. The maximum recommended door size if using patches is 1200mm wide or 90kg in weight.
About glass fittings
For larger doors up to 1400mm or 120kg the door rail must be used. For self closing doors both floor springs and concealed overhead closers are available.
Notching
All hardware requires the glass to be notched or drilled prior to
toughening. A glass preparation manual can be downloaded from
here. Some components are available in special sizes
